How it started
Back in 2015, I wanted to host a spring clothing swap, but everyone I invited already had plans or could only attend for part of the time. The clothes I wanted to swap were still in style and in great condition, so I didn't want to donate them.
I listed a few of the clothes for sale online and made some sales soon after. I was hooked! Once I ran out of my own clothes to sell, I started finding items to sell at local thrift stores and selling for my friends and family.
I was making extra money selling second-hand goods and absolutely loved it. I realized then that I could help others as much as I help myself.
I’ve since sold thousands of items and made thousands of dollars selling online. I also started From Pennies to Plenty to share my thoughts and tips on reselling online and others everyday ways to make and save money.
